Starcraft 2 zerg units – Drones, Zerglings and Baneling:

Drones are those units that will harvest resources, and can also create structures from their own bodies. As a direct result of this the buildings and structures regenerate. Zerglings are very strong in regards to their numbers and can only attack ground units. However, their big advantages are that they are very fast in attack and have increased speed. Banelings actually mutate from Zerglings and are renowned for doing damage over a small area.

Starcraft 2 zerg units – Queens, Roaches and Hydralisk:

Queens have many useful abilities that she can call on. She has the capability to heal buildings and create more larva which is in turn used to build more units. In addition they can attack from the air or on the ground from a moderate distance and can do a medium amount of damage. Roaches are a ground unit that can only attack from short range and can also throw acid at opponents. The hydralisk is another ground unit and like the zerglings has a fast ranged attack. Again they are strong in numbers and can do a lot of damage in a group.

Starcraft 2 zerg units – Ultralisk Unit:

Any starcraft 2 zerg units guide will tell you that one of the most powerful zerg units to play as is the Ultralisk, and this guide is not different. This is an extremely strong ground unit. It is a gigantic four-legged monster that charges into battle and can attack more than one unit at a time. Some smaller units will succumb with just one attack from this unit. As this is a ground unit, like some of the others, it has the capability to burrow under the ground. The best attribute of this unit has to be the fact that it can ram it’s head into enemy structures, doing maximum damage and collapse.

Starcraft 2 zerg units – Brood Lord:

One of the favourite units of a lot of players and also mine is a unit known as a Brood Lord. This is a giant kite shaped monster. The large unit can launch smaller monsters that circle it’s orbit into battle to defeat the enemy. Despite being very powerful it does unfortunately have a weakness. The Brood Lord is a very slow moving creature, probably down to it’s size. Therefore it’s best to build this unit when you plan on assaulting someone or need to defend.
